Day Two - Canyon De Chelly, Mesa Verde National Park

The day will begin with a tour into Canyon De Chelly. This Monument shelters over 1,600 years of Native American history. Early Ancestral Puebloan basketmaker home sites built high into cliff alcoves grace spectacular red rock canyons where Navajo farmers and sheepherders still live. Our tour will be led by a Navajo Guide.

Afternoon travels will bring us to Mesa Verde National Park. Located in Colorado at the base of the beautiful Rocky Mountains, We will overnight right in the heart of the park.

Day Three - Mesa Verde, Moab Utah

This morning will be spent exploring Mesa Verde National Park. Repeatedly cited as one of the world’s top cultural attractions, Mesa Verde was home to the Ancestral Puebloans for more than 700 years. Many of the best-preserved dwellings were built high on cliff walls in alcoves, well-protected from the elements. Complete homes and entire villages have survived with many artifacts amazingly intact, providing visitors a unique and thought-provoking glimpse into America’s pre-European past.

Afternoon travels will bring us to Moab, Utah. We will journey thru Colorado’s beautiful Uray Mountains stopping at interesting historic areas along the way offing insight to the mining and lumber harvesting that occurred in this area. Overnight Moab, Utah.

Day Four - Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse State Park, Rafting the Colorado River

We will spend two exciting days in the town of Moab, Utah, known world over for in scenic beauty and rugged wilderness areas.

First stop today, Canyonlands National Park for an early morning tour of one of the most rugged areas of the United States. Your guide will offer several unique photo opportunities and provide insightful narration into the unique geology of this area. We will enjoy picnic lunch at Dead Horse State Park before returning to the Moab area for an afternoon river raft trip on the mighty Colorado river.

Day Five - Arches National Monument

Your day will start with an exhilarating off-road journey on the rugged slick rock trails. Four wheel drive vehicles will pick you up at your resort. Those wishing not go on this excursion can enjoy an early morning tour of the on sight winery or enjoy a horseback ride.

After a river side barbeque lunch we will travel to Arches National monument. Known for its  more than two thousand natural sandstone arches, including the world-famous Delicate Arch that frame this area’s amazing beauty. In some areas, faulting has exposed millions of years of geologic history. An 18-mile paved loop road introduces visitors to a brilliantly colored landscape littered with fins, pinnacles, faults and fossils; hiking trails wind under arches and around windows in stone. Short hikes will be offered in this area that all can enjoy.

Day Six - Monument Valley

We will travel Utah’s scenic highways to reach our next destination, the beautiful Monument Valley area. This area is known as the filming location of several John Ford movies. Most notably the Searchers starring John Wayne, to get the full experience of the area we will once again be joined by a Native American guide. Our day today will end with a Cowboy sunset Barbeque.

Day Seven - Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon

Today we travel to the World famous Grand Canyon, The Canyon, the Grand - it needs no other names. Ten miles wide, a mile deep. A silvery ribbon of water still relentlessly continues to slice through billion year-old rock. From vantage points on the rim, you see less than a quarter of the Canyon, yet even this inspires us to silence. Afternoon Sunset and Morning Sunrise tours will be enjoyed by all.

We will arrange a very special afternoon tour into Antelope Canyon this afternoon before arriving at the Grand Canyon.

Day Eight - Sedona

After enjoying a Early Sunrise tour we will start back to Phoenix/Scottsdale. We will stop for lunch and photos in the Sedona area before ending your journey mid-afternoon in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Day One - Painted Desert, Petrified National forest

Welcome to the Southwest! Your tour guide will meet you at your Scottsdale area hotel for an early morning start. Most days will begin around 7:30 A.M, with optional Sunrise tours available throughout the trip. We will travel in a 10 passenger  Van with large windows and comfortable seating. We will begin are journey on Arizona’s scenic highways, traveling from Phoenix/Scottsdale to Northern Arizona’s Colorado Plateau region.

Today’s journey will include stops along Historic Route 66, The Painted Desert/ Petrified National forest and Hubbell trading Post with an afternoon tour of Upper Canyon De Chelly National Monument. Tonight’s overnight accommodations will be in the town of Chinle, Arizona located on the Navajo Native American Reservation.

A $500.00 deposit is required to secure your tour.
Deposit is refundable up to 30 days of tour departure.
No refunds will be made within 30 days of tour.
Final payment is due 7 days prior to departure.
