Zion is definitely a photographer’s paradise with opportunities for every photographer from the hobbyist to the professional.

There are easy strolls or strenuous hikes that allow exploration of the main canyon, with its emerald pools and wooded valley, its upper reaches of sandstone and open desert, or nearby Kolob Canyon, where a 14-mile hike (roundtrip) will take you to the world’s largest stone arch.

Nature at it’s most eloquent; Zion is a place of towering sandstone cliffs, narrow slot canyons, spectacular arches, intermittent waterfalls and seeping springs.  Originally inhabited by both Ancestral Puebloans and Paiutes, Zion received most of its colorful place names from early travelers and settlers.
